1. LINDT HOME OF CHOCOLATE

The scent of sweet chocolate lies in the air! The Lindt Home of Chocolate informs about origins, history and production of the tastefull delicacy. Each exhibition space is individually designed to address all senses. The world's tallest, free-standing chocolate fountain is located in the foyer of the museum.

2. SHENZHEN PLANNING EXHIBITION

Urban planning as a museum experience: The "Museum of Contemporary Art & Planning Exhibition" was opened in Shenzhen. The building's architecture is by Coop Himmelb(l)au. ATELIER BRÜCKNER designed the nearly 8.500 square metre exhibition on the subject of urban planning and city development. It shows Shenzhen as a vibrant city, characterised by constant change and growth.

3. SENCKENBERG NATURMUSEUM
<"Marine Research" and "Deep Sea", Senckenberg Naturmuseum, Frankfurt>
The Senckenberg Naturmuseum in Frankfurt / Main extended its permanent exhibition by two immersive rooms: "Marine Research" and "Deep Sea". They are the first part of a modular master plan for the redesign and expansion of the museum. The master plan, as well as the exhibition design of the two newly opened rooms, are by ATELIER BRÜCKNER.

4. KUNSTVEREIN WAGENHALLE

The Wagenhallen Stuttgart, a locomotive shed from the 19th century, offer 14.000 square metres for diverse cultural purposes. ATELIER BRÜCKNER refurbished the halls – now the Kunstverein Wagenhalle e.V (artists’ society) celebrated their moving in. More than 100 artists moved into the new premises. The creative studios are designed as functional cubes and can be adapted by the artists on an individual basis.

5. NEWLY COMMISSIONED

ATELIER BRÜCKNER was assigned the conception and design for the new permanent exhibitions at the new Hungarian Transport Museum in Budapest and for the Sadberk Hanim Museum in Istanbul. Both museums will be developed architectonically: Diller Scofidio + Renfro was commissioned for the contract in Budapest. Grimshaw is responsible for the redevelopment in Istanbul.

6.HERRENBERG | NEUENMARKT

Won! The first prize in the Fruchtkasten Herrenberg competition goes to ATELIER BRÜCKNER. We are very pleased! Architecturally thoroughly elaborated architectural projects are – in addition to exhibitions for museums and brands – one of our core areas. Another running architectural project is the refurbishment and conversion of the historic Neuenmarkt train station. Construction has started already. Both buildings are listed and have an identity-creating character.

7. STALAG 326
The feasibility study for the “Stalag 326 Memorial” was completed. It includes the narrative design of the exhibition, an architectural cubature study, marketing strategies, a cost analysis and a time and action plan.

8. ARCHITECTURE

The Wagenhallen Stuttgart are awarded with the renowned Hugo Häring Award, the International Architecture Award (Chicago Athenaeum) and a Special Mention at the German Design Award! The Parish Centre in Troisdorf won the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg Architecture Prize 2020 by the Association of German Architects Northrhine-Westfalia, while the Kindergarten in Troisdorf received the International Architecture Award by the Chicago Athenaeum. Together, both buildings form a prominent accent in the heterogeneous urban space.

9.BRAND ENVIRONMENTS

The Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet and the visitor centre of the whisky brand The Macallan are among the winners of the German Design Award in the "Excellent Architecture & Exhibition" category. The KTM Motohall was awarded the “Focus Silver” by the Design Center Baden-Württemberg. The brand world in Mattighofen, Austria, convinced in the “Public Design” category. Also, the jury of the German Design Award was convinced and awarded the project a special mention.
